Control unit, power supply, terminal 30A.
The STOP indicator light glows red. The following functions are disabled: front, rear, and tag axle pressure control, trailer control valve, ABS, ESP, and ASR.
Power supply interrupted (terminal 30A).
Check fuse F161.
Check the power supply voltage at terminal 30A using a PC.
Check the power supply wiring to terminal 30A for open circuits, voltage drops, and high resistance.
If no fault is detected, replace the EBS unit (A402).
Control unit, power supply, terminal 30b.
The STOP indicator light glows red. The following are disabled: front, rear, and auxiliary axle pressure control, trailer control valve, ABS, ESP, and ASR.
The power supply is interrupted (terminal 30b).
Check fuse F393.

The battery voltage is too high (>32 V) or too low (<16 V).
Check the supply voltage of the EBS unit (A402) using a PC (20-28 V).
Check the batteries and alternator.
Check the wiring and contacts in the connectors between the EBS unit (A402) and the on-board network (A100) (X1/1, X1/2, X1/3+, X1/15-).

Brake switch 1 or 2.

Check the wiring between the EBS unit (A402) and the steering wheel angle sensor voltage converter (T122) for a short to ground. To check, try replacing the ESP speed sensor (B476), the steering wheel angle sensor module with voltage converter (T122), and the EBS unit (A402) one at a time.
FMI 6: Check the wiring between the EBS unit (A402) and the ESP speed sensor (B476) for a short to Ubattery and short circuits. Check the wiring between the EBS unit (A402) and the steering wheel angle sensor voltage converter (T122) for a short to Ubattery and short circuits. To check, replace the EBS unit (A402).
Interaxle differential, lock.
FMI 5, 6, 10: The STOP indicator lamp is yellow. User functions are not limited.
The interaxle differential relay is faulty.
Check the wiring and contacts in the locking relay connectors.
